Impact on Services Due to COVID-19

Little Beakers has almost returned to pre-COVID operations practices. Certain limitations are still in place for certain services. As always, soap and water are readily available in the lab for frequent hand washing and our staff currently wear face coverings.

Following is a summary of the safety measures being implemented at The Woodlands lab:

Open Lab:

Open Lab spots must now be reserved. Walk-ins may be asked to wait until a spot becomes available.

Birthday Parties:

Currently, only one party permitted per time slot. Open Lab service will run concurrently with party time. We do offer a ‘privacy’ option. For an additional fee you will be guaranteed the only customer in the lab during your allotted time.

Group Events:

All group events including field trips, dissections and guided labs will be held per normal. As always, we are able to do events at your location or even provide experiment kits that you can conduct on your own.

Safety Measures:

• Staff must stay at home if sick or showing any signs of illness.

• Staff must wear a face covering at all times.

• All staff will check their temperature upon arrival to work.

• Staff and customers will be instructed to follow the usual CDC guidelines of washing hands thoroughly and frequently, maintaining approximately 6 ft distance between themselves and others, covering coughs or sneezes with your arm or a tissue and avoiding touching your face.

• Safety glasses will continue to be sanitized after each use.
